So i just found out that my R&P is going out and the bushing's are shot!!! So what i was wondering is where can i get a new R&P? where and what are good bushing's? ive seen alot about Daizen but i have no clue . also I think its called the suspension bushing??? does anyone know about these issues? please help

 

May be you can shed some more light on how your r&p is out ? If the bushing was bad, you can buy a steering rack bushing kits from TMengineering (Daizen) for about 60 bucks or. You can get a remanufacture one from a dealer for about $380 plust the labor another $300 bucks, or a brand new one for $1400 when I asked the dealer. Maybe junkyard has one where you live which is cheaper than the dealer. The steering rack bushing is to help tight a little bit on your steering wheel from loosen for any play and it helps to steer better on the road. Now to replace a new Daizen bushing in is another story. If you are a handyman, you don't have any issue. I didn't replace them myself. May be some other CL's members can answer your questions better than I. I am not a mechanic nor an expert for technical questions. Hope this will help.
