Ok so i'm going to the shop sometime this weekend but i figured i'd post up to see if anyone can shed some light on the issue.
When driving and making a turn the car will make a clunk noise... I get NO noises when going over bumps or anything of that sort.
If I park the car and i turn the wheel from side to side you will sometimes hear it. It usually sounds like its coming from the driver side when I checked yesterday.
This recently started happening maybe about a day ago or two.
Just a month ago I had replaced:
upper control arms, ball joints, outer tie rods, sway bar bushings and end links.
I checked everything and nothing seems to be loose all the bushings are good, no broken boots on the components...
Again, no noises going over bumps, its just when I move the steering wheel to turn or if i turn it side to side i get the clunk clunk noise.
All the parts i listed were changed at the same time about 2 months ago. I basically took the car off the road and changed everything. The only thing I didn't do was the inner tie rods, steering rack bushing and lower control arms (they looked good)
The car rides much better than it did before and no clunks at all. Like I said it only clunks when I turn the steering wheel back and forth and it comes from the driver side...
Haven't changed those caster arm bushings so ill give that a shot and report back. I still plan to take it to a mechanic to see if they can find anything else wrong I missed...
