What happens when your sway bar bushings go bad?

 

they make a clunking noise ull knotice a difference in ride

 

hmm...I'm trying to figure out what to fix cause i have both noise just before the car stops (sway bar bushings) and unsteady steering ie. wandering( Lower control Arms)

Guess i'll jsut replace both.

 

i have same problem. Loose steering at high speeds and clicking noise when braking from forward to reverse. also some noise going over bumps. All noise seems to be coming from front. Car has 55k miles and a 1998.
I've decided to change my tie rods, ball joints and control arm (not waiting any longer for daizen control arms) Parts ordered and waiting for outcome. Hoping this "mod" will bring the car back to new.

 

Can you tell by looking at teh controm arm if it is bad? I just ordered the ball joints and tie rods but not the control arms...I was going to wait to do this another time.

 

Well, I did my ball joints and tie rods already. So, I'm gonna do the do the control arms and sway bar bushings this week. Daizen is selling the entire arm? I know that the bushings are available if that's what your looking for. Sewell stocks them!
