Did the people at dealer say anything about the springs, like Fizzboy's dealer?

I'll take a look later in the week at the Eibachs, I'm using my Jeep today.

That and I'm not thrilled the current F-springs were being sold with a known problem. If there was a brand of aftermarket parts to be trusted, it should have been Lexus's very own. Do you folks think this is worth a call to Lexus Corporate? Not sure what would be appropriate for all my time and headache for going back and forth to dealers, to my installation guy (and questioning his abilities), buying my own sleeves at my own expense, and having to do all this research and guesswork online. Not to mention I've not wanted to drive my car to "social" events for the last five weeks due to all the noise.
Thoughts?

Fizzboy - My thoughts....

At least your dealer is communicating with you, which is more than what other posters are getting. I think you should allow the dealer to come through for you, although I agree this is much more aggravation than you expected.

nah I haven't talked to them about the defect. I'm guessing they won't know much.

Dead coils are touching on my Eibach 350's when parked too, I checked.

Maybe it's the "different coiling" since mine might be versions manufactured later.

ok thx. I think my clunking noise is almost non noticeable so I'll leave it at that...I also got the dustless brakes too. So far so good, no change in stopping distance either.

I'd make sure your springs are the new, revised ones. I am on a waiting list so to speak. They are supposed to be coming soon.

I requested it, but did not get an answer. I am told to hang tight, which I'm doing.
