Default tanabe sustec pro5 coilovers

anyone here running these? I'm going to be purchasing them soon since my financial situation has improved and was wondering if anyone has some pros and cons for these. so far, I've talked to steezy and some other mechanic friends and they've said its a good coilover. but I wanna know what others on the boards are saying in regards to these. thanks!!

wow, 2 years still going strong, sweet.

lol its a bit too late already steezy, I've placed my order in for them today and they should be in by friday. possibly installed on saturday so i'll have some first hand experience. thanks for the help tho guys. Your reviews have instilled some confidence about the tanabe brand to me. can't wait to see how my car will look. and hopefully i'll be able to come around to some starbucks meets. judd tells me they're gonna change up the meeting times too so idk, maybe ill see you around

I've had mines just as long WITH air and they're still like new! Awesome coils for the price

BTW if you're planning to get Tein CS's they won't drop no where near as low as the Tanabes will

honestly they are a rough ride compared to tein coilovers. im slammed all the way down on my tanabes, so there is very limited damper travel though.

so, did you install your coilovers?

i agree, the ride on tanabe coilovers are rough! it doesn't feel like i'm riding in a lexus...

i chose comfort over a lower stance and went with tein cs coilovers... oh, i wanted to pass the reconstruction permit inspection too! here's a picture of my car... i could go lower, but... i have to get in and out of a parking structure at work and i'm a GIRL driver!

The KW's usually ride a lot smoother than the Asian coilovers manufacturers do. But the BCR coilovers offer a nice ride as well.

are you serious? man... i wanted something comfortable... lol. i guess i shoulda came out to the meets and took up steezy's offer to test drive his car. T_T oh well, if anything, ill just sell them if it isnt comfortable enough.
and as you can probably tell, i havent installed them yet. my friend down at munky wurks gave me a good deal on it. only problem is shipping will take a little longer than usual. they should be in this thursday tho . i dont really wanna drop my car yet tho, im still running on stock rims

haha dont be so hard on yourself, guys have problems with drops too.

oh yea, isuxel,

does adding air make it more comfortable? (stupid question)
and how much extra did you have to pay to add on air?

if it'll make my car more comfortable I might actually pick up air in the future.
