How do I put these clips on??

hello there....
well i dont get it... im trying to change the rear brake pads... i got it all put together but the anti squeal spring doesnt stay or clip on. do i put the pin guide pin first then put the spring or do i put the spring first.... i lost 2 sets already... ?? i have a 98 gs400.....

lo dit........great pics. This helps understand the 99 GS400 rear setup. They are different from my 94 GS300.......

Were these OEM installed on all? My 98 GS4 doesn't have them, but I would guess they are like the ones in front to help pull off the brakes to reduce drag (improve mpg).

Hopefully can find them.

How do you take the pad guide pin out of the rear brakes? (98 GS300)
