Default Coilover Opinions

Hey CL, Ive been looking at different coils that the vendors are selling and just wanted to get your opinions on the quality of these setups. So far, its between Tein SS & CS, Stance, and K-Sport. What do you think about the brand itself and for those of you who have these setups, how do they ride? I am mainly looking for a comfortable ride, nothing too rough. Im not looking for performance, but I still want something that will last awhile. Im also looking for something that wont put a huge dent in my wallet.

Help me out CL!! Im going to add a poll and you guys just choose and then post why you chose them. Thanks!

I dont know how to edit the polls, but its Stance GR2 and K-sport Kontrol Pro.

I'm looking forward to getting coilovers too.

Due to the cost, i am at a tossup between Tein SS and STANCE.

I'll be waiting for the responses here.

wow. I would not consider Ksport and Megans to be anywhere NEAR the quality of the others. They are china crap rebranded. Stance would be a good choice if you are looking for fully adjustable coilovers
even 240sx owners look down on people who use megans/ksport

Tein CS will give you the closest to factory ride. If you have ever ridden in a BMW M3 they are similar to the TEIN CS, firm but not too stiff.

That is quite harsh but I will take your word for it... That being said, what would be the better buy a USED set of Teins or Ksport/Megans... and how long would each last?

I like the whole idea of having a warranty in the US on new products.

you can buy used, but its just a gamble. you dont know the condition of them. I would rather save more money and buy them brand new
