Mark - no they aren't. To my knowledge only coilovers like the Tein and Bilstein PSS are adjustable.

Default Drop with Ltuned

How much drop would one get with the Ltuned suspension? Also, is a "Ltuned suspension" comprised of just Ltuned springs and shocks?

Default L-tuned Suspension setup

The suspension setup is comprised of springs/shocks which gives a drop of a little more that 1 inch.

Most drivers also purchase the L-tuned steering ecu, which assists the 'feel' of the steering, in essence providing a more tighter feel.

Default How would it look

Does anyone know about the L-sportline suspension? I'm assuming it is different from L-tuned.

I've got the L-sportline installed on my 2001 gs430.
Dropped appx 1'' in front and 1.25" in rear. Rides pretty well (I'm in sales and have to have clients in the car). I've had comments that mine is stiffer than their friends Lexus, but it is not that noticeable. I definitely need to slow for speed bumps now however!!. 18" SSR competition wheels w/245 tires fill out the wheel wells pretty well.

I am under the assumption, Bilstein shocks would work well with my 1.7" drop Espelier springs?

Default Suspension

I am thinking of going with the HKS hiper max II or the LS coil over system. I have heard good things about these setups! they are a little expensive but suspension is one of the most important things on your car so I say "do it right the first time or don't do it at all"

I have used three sets of the HKS Hipermax II's and loved them (two separate GS's and 1 Supra). The ride is good and the handling is even better. On both GS's, they have had 19" wheels and I dont have a problem with ride quality. If you have the right offest wheels, the car can be lowered a lot without issues as well. If you are on a slight budget, you may want to consider the HKS Hipermax LS. They are the "luxury sport" line for the HKS coilovers. The use the same technology and construction, but are tailored to a luxury and sport spec. They are hieght adjustable like the HKS Hipermax II and do also come with a slighty more comfortable designed upper pillowball mount, but they do not offer 30 way stiffness adjust as does the HKS Hipermax II. Two of my co-workers have the Hipermax LS, and fear not that they performance and rider quailty is not compromised. Let me know if you have any questions. Ill do my best to help.

Here are some pics of my GS's with the Hipermax II

For those that are still reading and getting info from this thread go with the TEIN CS (Cruising Master) if your into performance/handling go with any other one thats made for your driving habits and what you want from your ride. MANY TO CHOOSE FROM

I just want to say I had the H&R springs with the L-tuned shocks installed, I believe the drop is 1.5/1.4 or it could be 1.5 both front and rear but anyways I was preparing for the worst which was to be a very harsh ride, but in fact when I drove it, the handling was so much better but the ride stayed almost near factory setup, now I still have the 17 inch stock chromes, but I do plan on upgrading to 19's so I think my ride will get much harsher from that but as far as shocks go I dont see how any other combination would make such an improvement in handling without as much degrade in the luxury ride a Lexus should have.

Can't go wrong with Tein CS. The best for comfort imo.
