Default potentially big problem....

Hey guys. I bought d2 coils off a member here, and they came with these little chrome grommet looking things that insert into the lower strut mount. Problem is, i only have 7 when i need 8. I'm trying to source one from d2, but does anyone have another possible immediate solution?

A spacer washer? Just go to a nuts and bolts shop and ask for it. Bring one with you and show them it.

no, its slightly different. I just took the car to a shop to see if they had something to install it with, but they didnt. I may end up having to get one machined. Basically there's 2 that go into each lower strut mount, they're shaped like tophats kind of. The smaller end goes inside and the two kind of form a sleeve inside the rubber mount.

I would see what d2 says, machining a single part like that will probably be relatively costly.

P.s. - Didnt you just buy wheels? Time to change that sig!

ehh the guys really shady :-/ i agree to buy the wheels and he doesn't freakin give me any paypal info! I've been trying to contact him for a couple days, maybe he's just busy, idk. I'm also still waiting on my god damn refund from TM engineering.

But, depending on a talk I have with my father tonight, i may be out of the GS soon so these parts may go right back up for sale to fund the next project. (if it happens, i'll be staying in the family so don't worry )
