So this is a bit of a continuation from my last thread... not happy w/ the F-Sport spring drop. I've boiled my decision down to the Eibach ProKit 250 & Tein S-Tech springs... if this could be a dedicated thread to posting pictures of these two spring drop's that would be great, not only for my decision but for others in the future deciding between the two.

What about H&R's? I recently picked up a set and am pretty happy so far. The springs have only been installed for around 2 weeks, but the ride is nice and the drop is nice too. I don't have any pics, but here's one of Javy's IS with H&R's. Sweet huh?

wow, these actually look good. I saw a pic of H&R's before somewhere and was turned off because the car looked dump'd... does anyone know the drop length of these H&R's?

 

just posted a reply if your old thread. anyway, road magnets drop an even 2'' all around. not sure if it is too much for you. what size wheels are you running?

 

Front: 1.4" and Rear:1.3", IIRC.

 

i just sold my eibach prokit for the is250 and im 99% sure i will be going with the h&r's. javys car looked as close to perfect as u can get without going with coil overs.

 

will 1.4 and 1.3 be enough for your AWD? ur car stock sits pretty high, what size wheels do you have? i think you're looking at H&R < Tein S < Road Magnet in terms of drop size.

road magnets are def a no. the IS's front end is naturally higher then the rear, bigger wheel gap. So i deff want something where the front is dropped more...

 

i think stechs give u a slightly more lower drop than HnRs do 1.6 front 1.2 rear

 

i have to disagree with this one, i had them before, and the drop is pretty much even front and back

 

H&R is the way to go for a low and even drop. Stech is slightly higher and the front end will be slightly higher as well..

 

Can someone explaine to me how H&R's will be more even and the front? Specs say Tein S-Tech's will be lower in the front

H&R front 1.4 rear 1.3

Doesn't make sense... how can the H&R's be lower?

 

Every manufacturer will have it's own set of specs, they're not always accurate. The H&R is truly a bigger drop than the TEINS.

 

im pretty sure stechs are lower than hnrs
