Default TSIB Pads appropriate for Track

I noticed the F-Sport BBK comes with "low-dust high performance pads". I'm wondering if the TSIB pads are also considered high performance, and would be ok on the track? Has anyone who has done track days with these pads had any issues?

Thanks

Depends how hard / or late you plan on braking, for the matter.

You might be ok, you will just have to adjust your braking zone, during your hot laps.

I seriously doubt, the TSIB pads, would be considered "HIGH PERFORMANCE"

The TSIB pads are NOT meant for the track. You will burn through them in 10 minutes guaranteed. Switch back to stocks if you are going to the track.

I wouldn't be going too hard (scared to break the car..slow in fast out, smooth, etc etc) and most of the day is classroom stuff anyway.

I was thinking the same things about the TSIB pads, but I saw GSHB had mentioned track time with his car on TSIB pads so figured I'd see what people thought. If I do go, I'll probably try to find a track/street pad just to be safe. tx

You will be fine, just try it with them first.

Just remember to adjust to the change in pedal, and don't look behind you

when i went to north carolina for the Tail of the Dragon, I had lots of fun with my TSIB pads up there.

didn't experience any fade or what not.

now I wanna try these pads on the track and see what they can do

You can't compare street and track duty for brake pads. They're completely different worlds. I wouldn't expect the TSIB pads to be very fade tolerant compared to the dust producing pads, but they are both rated FF (not exactly bad), so they might be OK if your sessions are short and the track doesn't require you to be heavy on the brakes.

Thanks guys. I'm contemplating an scda1 track day at limerock in CT in April; the pads are easy enough to change it would be worth some piece of mind.

Lobux, is there a way I could have found the DOT rating on the pads myself? tech-info site? All I could find was the part number. tx
