Default Best spring for new stock strut setup?

I am replacing the struts and strut mounts on my 98 GS400 with oem lexus parts. While everything is apart, this would be a good time to think about a spring upgrade. Heres my problem, I have has many lowered vehicle before and love the look but have always sacrificed ride comfort. This car is my daily driver and I got it because I wanted a luxury car ride....... I have a set of 20" wheels going on the car with 255/35/zr20 tires and would like a very mild drop (1-1.5 inch max) but would like to stick as close to the factory ride quality as possible. Any suggestions? I dont plan on racing the car at all, just the occasional spirited drive through the country. Thanks for any input you guys have.

stock shocks i'd stay inside your max drop (less than an inch and a half)

the eibach's are a small drop

How do the Eibachs ride on the GS4? I had a set on my sc300 with tokico shocks and it rode terrible. I think I am going to stick to a 1" drop but the ride quality is the most important thing to me at this time.

No bilsteins, I love the ride of oem struts. Plus I work at a Toyota dealer so I get the parts from Lexus at cost. Going for factory ride with a very mild drop. I am considering the L-tuned springs, anyone had experience with them?

So is anyone here running the L-Tuned springs that can tell me how they ride (with stock struts would be great)??
