Default Excuse my ignorance, but quick question..

I'm an engine/body guy, not a suspension guy...with that being said...

Which set of tie rods do you replace to save on labor when doing the ball joints? Is it the inner or the outer? I believe there is a rip in the boot on the driver's side, noticed it when doing brakes. I would say the boot was closest to the rotor, so I'm assuming that is the outer right?

I'm getting ready to order the parts of sewell. Just got my bonus (no not a bonus, a cash out of vacation/sick time), so I'm ready to get this taken care of. It's about the last thing on the car that hasn't been done since I got in February as a piece of mind... Thank you!

i haven't heard of the inner tie rods going out too soon, can't hurt to check em out. Far as i know it takes a long time for them to go out.
