Front/Rear STBs that work with coilovers??
This may be a really dumb question, but from what I know, this may actually be a relevant problem:
Here's what I *think* I know:
-You adjust the stiffness/height of coilovers through a little thing that sticks up through the "strut hole"
-Most STBs that I have seen cover this hole when they are tightened down
Wouldn't this make for a big inconvenience whenever you want to change your coilover settings?
What companies make Strut Tower Bars that have an "open" design around that strut hole allowing easy adjustment of the coilovers?
The Rod Millen Strut Bar seems to have that open design, here is a pic to show what I mean:
Notice how you can see the strut hole (in the middle of the bolts),
though I don't think this is the case with all the strut bars offered for our cars, my TRD bar certainly doesnt allow this.
-----------
Ok, new question:
Take a look at the new TEIN EDFC just released, that allows you to adjust your coilovers from the comfort of the driver's seat.
http://www.tein.com/edfc.html
Anyone know the actual physical size of this thing?
Are there any strut bars available that have the opening over the strut hole large enough to FIT this thing in there?
For example, in the RMM STB in the pic above, it looks as if you could fit one of these INTO the base part of the strut bar holding the horizontal part up.
Sorry if this sounds really confusing, I'm having a hard time describing this, but hopefully someone will understand what I mean and can elaborate

Lexus Champion
ill be getting the new EDFC soon... before i get strut tower bars... im not sure to be honest with you how big it is but im gonna go take a look at it in march and measure it up, then design it in my program to get an idea of how a strut bar would have to be designed, and then design a strut bar with teh same program.

Manaray, I'm hoping you may have some definitive answers for this...
Saw you posting again so thought I'd push this back up.
Where've you been man?
