Default Coilover Question?

i have a 03 gs430 and i was wondering which coilovers are best priced between 800-1200 for my car? looking to upgrade to 18's or 19's and want to be hugging the tires. If i had the money i would get the HKS RS but there kinda out of my price range. Any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Tein SS sell for $1200 but you can probably find a used set in the classifieds for cheaper. I have them and i love them. I definitely recommend them and the drop is great.

Unless you want to be able to adjust ride height and stiffness, going with springs to drop your ride would be a cheaper way to go. I've had coilovers and once I got it adjusted to the ride height and stiffness I liked, i never touched them again! I'd get the camber kit made for your car too...save you some serious $$$ on tires

There has been a coilover debate going on around here since I joined, and I'm sure it started way before I got here. Do your research, use the search function, and make your decision.

Since folks are going to weight in I guess I have to put in my .02. I think Tein CS's offer the best value and comfort out there!

Given your price range you should look for Stance, Megan or Tein Basics. Actually, given your price range are you sure you don't want to go spring/shock combo? You'll still have a drop, dress up the new whee;s/tires, and have a lot of money left in your pocket.

lowest springs would be daizen, DFs, or espelirs. but even still, dont think any will drop as low as OP would like.

my 2 cents stands, save for HKS and do it right
