Unhappy crooked car!

Hey guys. This is my first pos and I'm a noob to CL. Well here's the deal.. I was looking at my car( 2000 GS300) and the front passenger tire is higher than the rest of the car by 2inches! What could it be? Springs?? Tires are all the same as well as the 20Inch chrome rims. I could literally put my fist in the gap as where I can't on the driver side. I just got the car. Any ideas of what to do? Help please

My first guess is a bad strut. All the suspension is suspect at this point though. If you are not familiar with suspension and how it should look have it checked by a professional.

Post some pictures up here if you can.

root cause: possibly bad struts

take your 2GS to the mechanic-izzle and have him evalu-tizzle your struts

(sorry, couldnt resist after i took a 2nd glance at your name)
oh ya, welcome!

Yup. Most likely the spring itself, unless your lower control arm is somehow bent downward to the point where it increases your wheel gap

post pics.

Did you replace any of your tires lately? If so do the tire sizes match? Just a thought until pics come.

I'm going to say struts as well, but it's a vague opinion considering there is no real reference point.

It would really help everyone to give opinions if you took a pictures of each wheel bay and posted those pictures on the thread.

Get it checked by a pro.

Could be a bad strut or a bent suspension component.
