S-Tech Question
Hey, was just wondering the cheapest place to get the S-Techs at cause im not getting pm's back and was going to order them shortly. Also in the process i may be ordering wheels with them and was wondering the best fit would be with out rubbing and modifications. Thanks.

i have a set of TEIN S-Techs on my IS250 and im kinda on the fence for selling them. i kind of do want to sell, but then i dont have enough money to buy coilovers yet. but the ride is nice. i have 19-in rims on mine (8.5, 9.5) with 215/35/19 and 235/35/19 and i dont rub. but i heard you can go up to 235/35 for the fronts and 255/35 for the rears and wont be rubbing.

Yeah having a hard time trying to decide on stechs or coils as well, it sucks lol, most likely the stechs cause after all this is my DD and I just want it for looks but meh who knows

when i first got my s-techs put in, i was first worried that it wouldn't be low enough. but then when i saw how low it was, i was worried that it would be too low and that my alignment would suffer as such.
but i took some of the advice that other 2is owners gave (whether fact or fiction, letting the springs settle; four-wheel alignment), and i haven't had problems w/ my s-techs since the day i got them installed.

the pics were taken a half year after getting s-techs. in the pics i'm also on nitto invo's (not the sport maxx's), which i've found to have more upright sidewalls than the sport maxx's.

unless your expectations are unreasonably high (or low - no pun intended), these should do just fine.

Thanks. No my expectations aren't that high I was just like you and thinking they wont be low enough and It wouldn't have the stance that I was looking for, but they look good, I can settle with those. Plus if I get 19's it will fill it in more.
Just to double check before I order them, that with the different spring rates and such these fit on the 250 correct with no problems? Just double checking before the purchase. Thanks.
