Default Hard Braking Lock-up Can Be Scary

I have searched and searched with varying ways of searching. I found nothing so far, so here goes:

I have been noticing lately that if I had to do a sudden hard stop, the brakes will hit the floor, my tires squeel and it seems like my front end takes a bad dip. I am running on stock everything, including OEM Toyota brake parts. No ABS or Traction Control lights appear, not even briefly.

This doesn't happen very often, for I made a habit of staying off people's tails and keeping my drive easy. But just those times when like someone cuts me off then hits their brakes hard for a light, it can startle ya pretty good.

Does anyone know of a TSB on this for a 2000 GS300 or this being a known issue??

It's not a known issue on the GS at all. What tires are you running on? If the tires do not have traction in both the front and rear, all wheels will lock up and the ABS would think you're at a standstill, hence not engaging.

They are all the same. I know, I'm just waiting to replace them, they are HP259's or something like that. They were all new when I bought the car and I'm sure the Toyota dealership checks tire pressure everytime I have the oil changed.

Tires are in great shape, still have a lot in them. And no CEL of any sort.

Here's a better description. During a hard emergency braking it would feel normal for a split second and then the brake pedal will sink, the front end will dip pretty far and the tires will squeel. Otherwise when going over something wet, I can feel the antilocks pulsating the brakes.

sounds like you has air in the brake lines, or the fact that you need to change the brake fluid.
