Default bleed brakes

Has anyone successfully bled their brakes? Anyone have a writeup / DIY article on this for the 2IS?

Proper equipment? all u need is a hose that fits over the bleeder nipple, a flare wrench or even normal wrench(just be extra careful) and another person. Easy stuff! Just make sure you bleed from the furthest wheel away from the master cylinder first..which is our right rear I believe..I can't remember.

why are you bleeding the brakes???

Its the same as any other car...bleeding brakes isn't rocket science but it helps to have a buddy pumping the pedal for you.

Get Earl's solobleeders and do it yourself. That's what I did.

EAR-280025ERL x 2 for rear
EAR-280041ERL x 2 for front

I've heard they work great, could you please help out with the correct size to order? I found a bunch of choices on this site for the solobleeders. Thanks a bunch.

The Earl's part numbers are in my post. Google them, you'll find vendors. I got mine from Summit Racing

They're way overpriced on the site you linked to.

Those part numbers are for the IS350. The IS250 might be different. The IS-F is definitely different.

I've used a pump type bleeder in the past that's easier than the Earl's IMO

How? What could be easier than loosening the bleeder a turn and stepping on the brake pedal with a hose in a container to catch the excess fluid?

You can't be talking about the "amazing Mity-vac." Those things are a joke.

I have a real vacuum pump for vacuum:
