May I know someone else's TEIN HA's damper setting for normal driving? how many clicks do you have(please specify from right to left or from left to right)? I want as much as different damper setting info from different Tein HA owners. As long as you have the HAs installed, can you advice me a bit. thanks

i'm more into stiff, so i have 10 clicks all around, but most people make the front a couple clicks stiffer due to the weight of the engine as opposed to the rear with not much weight.

Used to have 9's all around from the left, but recently backed it to 8's with a higher tire pressure. I usually go 14-15's all around for the track.

Do all of you guys figure out that there are more than 16 level of damping? Coz I can turn the damping level up to 24 clicks. I am having 16 from the right for the fr, and 10 from the right for the rear. because if I don't turn set 16 for the front, my front part is gonna bumping up and down all the time very seriously.

Yeah i think there are more than 16 clicks on mine HAs too, but not sure if there is 24 clicks... The clicking thing is kinda wierd, because on mine, after a while there's no more clicks and it just keeps turning... not sure if that's the right behavior. Don't you guys wish that there is an actual number or something that tells you what level of dampening you're set to!!!

Default Which way is which?

I've never played with the stiffness since I've put in my TEINs. If I'm facing the engine compartment, which direction makes the ride more stiff? Clockwise or Counter-Clockwise? Please help b/c I have no idea what I'm doing.

It's in the manual (which is mostly in Japanese but has this info in English). Turning it clockwise tightens.

Mine is set to 8 all the way around for daily driving. Can't believe how much better the ride is (though there is more road noise transmitted on certain road surfaces). With some throttle, it seems the tail wants to step out at this setting, so it should be pretty neutral without gas. Setting the back softer than the front should make the car safely understeer (yawn )
