Default I am installing the following to make my car sit level tomorrow......

I will do a write-up when I am through. I am not even sure there is enough clearance between the coils to use them, but I am going to give it a try tomorrow. I am going to lower the passenger side, not lift the driverside. I need to lower it 1/4 inch both front and rear to make the car sit level.

enough of the suspense, Here is a link to what I am installing: http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/cospcoorsp.html

I would NOT recommend using that device. It will make your springs not sit correctly and can damage your suspension, not to mention you can hear noises from your springs

I can't possibly see how this can "mess up my car" I am simply compressing the coil a smidge, LOL. How could this possilbly mess my car up, Road Magnets give 2 inches of drop, I am looking to 1/4 inch of drop.

Needless to say I will do a write up on this when I get around to installing them.

Take pics of the install if you can! It will be interesting to hear what your opinion is of these once on the car.
I get the feeling you regret selling your TEIN CS's.

I won't comment on what I think of your "solution"...
But I can't see how those things won't interfere with the basic function of the shock/spring, there's not enough room to install them.

Thanks for the pic Giggity. I am not sure if there is going to be enough room, They are pretty small so they just may work. I have been too busy today to do it. And I may take a nap so I don't think I am going to do it today.

I figured for $40 I might as well give it a try. Who knows it may not work, but I am willing to try it. It makes sense and if it fits between the coils then I am sure it will work fine.
Yes I am pissed I got rid of my coilovers.

There will be no pics because I did not get them to work. There is not enough space between the coils. I almost positively would have interferce undre compression. Damnit, now my 38K car has to lean and there is nothing I can do about it.
I swear the next car I buy I am going to measure and if it leans I am not going to buy it unless I plan on getting coilovers.

If it bugs you that much, contact GroundControl. I'll bet they may have under development a kit or could easily put something together that will give you a small amount of adjustability for about $300-$400 using the facory struts.

You're lucky they didn't. They'll increase the spring rate on the corner where you install them by effectively shortening the spring's length. Cup cars will stuff wedges into the springs to stiffen a corner, and this device would work just like a wedge by eliminating an entire coil's motion.
