Default Brake Grease - what type should I use?

I need to replace the rear pads on my '98 GS4. I am looking for recs on grease for the shims. I have some Sil-Glyde silicon grease that the package states can be used on shims, caliper pins, etc. However, I see that many people here use a different grease on the shims. Also, I just did the brakes on my wife's Honda and the OEM pad kit came with a dark gray shim grease, but Sil-Glyde is recommeneded for the caliper pins. My Lexus service manual just says "brake grease" - not much help! Thanks for the input!

Go to autozone and pick up a small pack of brake grease for $1.09. Honestly, any grease will do. Eventually it'll dry up due to the high heat from the pads anyways.
