I have recently been hearing a clunking/grinding noise coming from my front drivers side wheel. The noise is at worst when im applying the brakes and the car is coming to at stop. I pulled the wheel and caliper off and turned the rotor by hand and there is an obvious wobble. Lexus dealer told me by phone that is sounds like a bearing, and local repair shop told be the Wheel Hub was warped. I had a slight bearing roar prior to all the new replacements, it was next on my list. Could the bearing alone be the cause of such a dreadful noise from the wheel.

New replacements Im referring to is new brakes, new tires, and new rotors.

one of the most common "clunking" noised up front has been the sway bar end links...

I get a clunk in my front suspension under full compression, but that's just the upper control arm , could be your issue?
