Default Just Installed Bilstein Shocks

I just had Bilstein Sport shocks installed on all corners yesterday. I also have had new ball joints, tie rod ends and the Daizen sterring rack bushings done in the last six months. All I can say is WOW. If your car rides rough or hadles badly over rough pavement, I highly suggest these shocks, the car rides at 140,000 miles like it did when I bought it with 29,000 miles. Well worth every penny.

Much like what I experienced, I thought my car rode better than new with the new Bilstein shocks. I had the L-tuned springs (~$240) with my Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks (~$460 shipped, and the GS became a very enjoyable machine on the corners and all around driver. The ride firmed up (no more Lexus float!), yet it was still near-stock comfortable. If anything, I thought the ride was a little firm at first, but it softened up after settling in for a month, and I love the way it rides--all GS cars should have come this way from the factory. The steering response, linear highway steering, and cornering went at least a few notches in each category--at least in my experience.

Glad it worked out for you. I'm sure you'd agree-that the only issue with the setup was that I wish I did it sooner.

I have Bilstein sp / Eibach prokit combo. It definitely firmed up the ride (no float, more control). It was a little firm at first, but after broken in, I love my set up now. I would recommend it.

I've heard positive things about the Bilsteins. I'm glad to hear they're doing well for you too.

IMHO, the best aftermarket shocks if you're dropping your GS on springs.
