2000 gs 400 acting weird 1st time?
i parked the car on an empty tank. today i try to drive and the weirdest thing happend. i put the car in R and everything seemed fine. then i put the car in d and it just barely moved, so i thought the E brake was on sometimes i forget. and it was off? when i gave it gas the rpms went up but it barely moved forward. maybe a vacume pump malfunction? later today i put it in D i could feel the pull right away, drives fine now? i went and got gas and tried again and everythings fine?
my question is does anyone know or heard of this? what could it be? im planning a road trip and now and am nervous it will act up again? please offer any suggestions, low miles, first time this has happend?..

It cant trust the level sensor in the tank as that could fail at anytime.

It could be. It happened to me just a couple of weeks ago. My calipers got stuck on the right front side. I guess the pistons in the caliper went out on me. A shop can fix it for 40$, or maybe this is an excuse for you to get BBK? =)

I think caliper needs to be cleaned. If the pistons are ok just dismantle the pads assembly and lubricate a bolt that its rubber covered. clean all very wheel and be careful not contaminate the pads or the rotor with grease. ( use high temp grease in that little axle bolt)
