Default Coilovers Vs Springs

Just out of curiosity do you guys see a difference between coilovers and springs? I usually get coils but it looks like for springs are becoming cheaper than coilovers in certain brands? Give me some input on your thoughts and which is better... Thanks

The adjustable ride height and comfort makes coils superior to springs.

I debated getting springs for over a year and am happy I decided to go with coils. At first I wanted a small drop, and now Im tucking tire on 20s

I don't want to start another Coilover thread so i'll just ask here.
My IS250 is my first car bought with my own money. When my stock shocks go bad I am looking to replace them. I've been looking around suspension threads. Coilovers are the way to go. I saw the tools to adjust ride height and dampening on coilovers, but my question is, Can you adjust the coilovers while the wheels are on?

Never owned coilovers before. Thanks in advance.

you have to remove the tires to adjust coilover heights.

I recently purchased a 2009 IS250 stock suspension, added F-Sports sways front and rear. Anybody on Tanabe Pro Sustec Five Coilover? Looking to lower without compromising ride comfort. Spring Rates on the Tanabe 10F, 7R what do these spring ratest feel like compared to stock? What would stock spring rates be? Thanx for the thread contributions!

This question is for anyone who is lowered around 3"!!!

Im looking to purchase a set of bc coilovers soon here and am curious if anyone has experienced any quicker than usual or abnormal tire wear...
Im looking into purchasing a camber kit for the front and rear.
I have an 09 is250 awd.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience on this subject?

I'm going to answer you the best I can since you're posting on multiple threads.
You can get coils and BC are among the best. You can also lower 3" and I was lowered more than that. The problem I see is that you have AWD which not as many have and people in the past have had problems with the car wobbling. I'll also answer you that being how low I was and having a camber kit to go in the negative gave me horrible tire wear. I even blew a tire on the freeway and I'm talking about 5-6K on the tires. I did buy the Figs toe links also just to be safe but never installed them before I sold my car. If you want to lower the car and correct camber and toe then that's what these parts were intended for but you'll just have to see for yourself. I hope this helps out a bit.

Thanks for the reply... Ive been getting pretty patchy answers all over lol.
yeah the wobble is a risk. Id be buying a camber kit to correct the neg. camber created by lowering (try to bring it back to stock spec.), not to get that vip look.
Not sure if its necessary to invest in toe components?
