I checked mine last week and it seems I had the 1st batch. Gold and high quality look. Had them installed Thursday. No problems. Very nice mod! The old rubber bushing was completely worn out. Floppy like a dead duck's neck.

 

I just ordered a Daizen Control Arm Bushing Kit from Swell Lexus, when ordered it said it was on "National Back Order" but my order still went through. Are all of the "bad batch" bushing kits sold out and newer kits being produced, as I do not want to receive a bad kit and have to send it back? Any advice?

 

i ordered mine yesterday and its already been shipped out FEDEX...i just hope its the first batch.

so i likely have the 2nd batch/newer batch? i I guess i can post up a pic when i get them and you guys who got the first batch can tell me whether mine is the better one.

 

I received mine at the end of december and mine are grey with rough edges.
Assuming they are 2nd batch.
I'll hold off on my install.

I just made a call to Sewell Lexus, and accordingly to them Daizen had some issues with their last batch and are now done with a new batch. They said they should have some in within the next 2 weeks... but he said she said...

 

I just got mine today from Sewell...its the grey ones...not the gold center sleeves...is Sewell doing an exchange?

 

I doubt they're going to do any exchange because it's diazen that manufactures the product. Sewell has no control over the production.

 

If there's a manufacturers defect, Sewell should be responsible to exchange them through Daizen for their customers who purchased these from them.

 

Exchange for what though? It's up to daizen to make new sleeves and as long as they aren't doing so, Sewell can't make any exchange. If anything, they'll have to give out refunds.
