Default Need Info about dropping gs

Hello all, I was wondering what is the best way to drop a car. I am a total noob when it comes to this so please be detailed. I have heard of air suspension and coilovers and springs but i know nothing about it. Please explain what each one does differently. Also can anyone point to a website who sells these items?

spring/shocks combo aka s/s = probably cheapest
coilovers = can be pricey. typically height and damper are adjustable, differs by mfr
air = wow, you're a pimp!

also, try search! GL!

First you should do a search as there is plenty of information on your topic.

shock & spring combo-$ aftermarket shock and aftermarket lowering springs. Different springs drop the car different heights (1", 2", 2.5" etc)

coilovers-$$ same thing as shock/spring combo, but already come all in one neat package PLUS dampening and height adjustment. Various kinds of coilovers for various types of driving. The majority of cl members are on coilovers and are very satisfied

air suspension $$$- the most expensive (parts and install) Ride height adjustment at touch of a button

This is just a very brief explanation of the ways to drop your car. It just depends on what your plans are for the car, what kind of wheels you planning on getting, if any, and condition of roads you have in your city. Good luck

How Does the ride feel with air suspension? What do you all think of universal air technology? Is that a good company?

Overall, air suspension will be very comfortable, as long as you go with a quality kit.
