Here's how thick this piece of metal is. About an eighth of an inch. Very stout.

It's supposed to be a lot...I dunno, the feel is stronger, but not like the difference when I did the same type of thing to a 3000GT I owned.

Do those LS400 calipers come with complete hardware? Hardware such as pins, shims, etc?

IS300 rear rotors are similar diameter as stock SC300 rotors, but they have that added benefit of being monoblock 2 piston.

Can you post a pic of the backside of your knuckle, displaying the bracket and caliper all bolted up?

I wonder if IS300 calipers could do well with a slightly larger rotor.

It doesn't really bolt up directly. Plus you're asking a man to text you from 2007, really doubt that he's still a member. Do some research next time. Here's what you need though;

Here what is said on their website, you have to find the spot where it would bolt up cause the LS brakes is slightly different.

Plus you're asking in the wrong section. So nobody can really help you out.

Default Bump in hope of figuring out mount dimensions

Just bumping this thread in hopes that someone can chime in with the dimensions. Has anyone else successfully attempted this mod?

What part are you asking about in particular? The LS400 fronts work perfectly on the SC. You just need a different caliper to knuckle bolt on each side and a shave of the dust shields behind the rotors (more information: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...how-to-do.html). Most people run TT rear brake calipers also, they only require that the dust shields behind the rotors be cut to allow for additional space for the larger rotor and calipers.

I've got both on my car right now.

Oh I was inquiring about the is300 rears to possibly get dimensions for fab. I will likely measure up the rear end this weekend and make it work. I have ls400 front calipers right now but I'm waiting for the adapters to run IS F rotors. I will likely fab some adapters to run IS F rear rotors as well!

You will want to run LS400 front rotors for the ls400 front calipers.

Totally understand the background info but I am leaning towards 14 inch rotors from the IS F.

Check out the idea

I will attempt to make the rears IS F compatible as Provoke Designs already completed the front ones.

I love the idea! I don't like the fact that the calipers don't go down to the center of the brake disk. Have you looked into doing CTS-V Calipers instead?

Also for anyone who is interested, here is a link to the post where he shares the spacer design for the LS400 caliper + ISF rotor: https://provokedesigns.home.blog/201...iper-download/
