My dad bought an 02 Black onyx 430 last year at a government seizures auction, and has been slowly adding things on here and there (the car really didn't need that much anyway). Anyway, we're trying to find a good front strut bar, I've already found a couple, but I just wanted to see what people who have them think of them, and which one would be best. get the carson tuned bar. it'll clear your engine cover. you can get them at www.l-tunedparts.com

Do you (or your dad) care if the engine cover stays? If so, you are looking at the Carson-Tuned like GSquicksilver said. There are a few others out there like the UGO, TRD, Tein, RMM, ... but you will have to sacrifice the cover.

Thanks for the help, apparently they stopped producing the carson tuned bar, and its been on backorder for 3 months. My dad's tryin to build somewhat of a sleeper, although the exterior is somewhat modifiied. Only performance mods as of now is a 100 wet shot. We're looking for headers, cold air intake, exhaust, basic bolt-ons, and maybe eventually FI .....Anyways, anybody know if any of the other bars will clear the engine cover?
