About to get springs/shocks installed...just a few ?'s
I'm getting my Espelir/l-tuned shock combo installed this Wed by LMS. I was told the setup has about 7k miles on them but I think they've been off of the car for a few months now. When I get them installed should I ride on them for about a week before doing an alignment to let the springs settle again or should they be pretty much settled by the 7k miles of use from the previous owner? Also, would LMS be a good place for an alignment or should I go to a tire store chain (america's tire, discount tires...ect)?
Also, I know the camber will never be back to factory specs but how bad of camber wear should I expect with this amount of drop?
Thanks in advance guys!

LMS has gotten some bad raps here and there. depends on who you talk to (but already 2 people have posted not the best comments about them). Why dont you try Dynamic? Lots of people rave about Ted and Son. Actually, I'll be taking my car over there soon for install and possibly some other stuff hehehe.
for your alignment, i think you should wait at least 2 weeks. better safe than sorry.

As far as alignment - drive to the alignment shop and get it done right away. There's no reason to wait for the springs to "settle", which is a myth. Consider the factory: when they build the cars, the alignment is done as the car is built, no waiting. IMHO.
