DIY...Lower Your ISx50

I'm going to put in my springs soon. What size gear wrench is used to remove the A-arm? I need go get a gear wrench for this job.
next you will have to do one of two things. remove the spindle from the upper A arm or remove the upper A arm from the car. I chose to remove the A arm from the car since its easier if you have some Gear Wrenches. (the ball joint on the A arm and spindle will require brut force to dislodge.)
The A arm is attached using two 14mm bolts. The nuts on the inside of the engine bay have a holder so they will not go anywhere.
Also remove the two 10mm bolts holding the ABS line to the shock and car.
Now move the spindle off to the side, being careful with the brake lines, and remove the shock.

I couldn't separate the ball joint so i went the A-arm route. plus from my experience with honda's...I always end up damaging the threads or nut when i try to bang the ball joint with brute force.

Damn,
I started this over the weekend, but only got my front done so far... rear will happen this weekend.
My gear wrenches wouldn't work for the upper A arm. I followed the instructions for the Fsport springs (on the Sewell website) and it has you remove 2 bolts on the bottom... I found this to be quite easy.
The worst part (and I forgot how much this sucks) is compressing the springs. I don't have an air gun, so I was doing it with a ratchet. This is the part that caused the most aggravation for me. I'm a pretty strong guy, and it's a pain to hold the spring while compressing the last inch of the springs.
The process itself is not too difficult, but doing it while jet lagged and super tired is not recommended. Also, it's much easier if you have air tools.
Hopefully the rear goes quickly, but I'm not looking forward to it!
