Do you need to cut bump stops for eibachs?
I'm going to put on my eibach springs and bilsteins sports on this weekened and was wonderin how many of u guys cut your bumps stops and were there any negative effects to not cutting them.

the shop I used didn't cut them and the ride was severely hard with my eibach/bilstein combo. i sold them to a friend thinking the ride was too harsh and found out that they were supposed to be cut so they were cut before they were put into my freind's car and they rode MUCH better.
basically if you compress the amount of travel with a shorter spring, you need more travel if you're going over the same bumps to ensure you don't feel the severe hit when the shock compresses. you achieve that extra travel by cutting the bump stops.
i now have the tein CS v1 on the car and an extra set of bilstein/eibach sitting around in the garage with bumpstops cut...
