Hub bolt size? Trying to replace wheel studs.
edit: I meant nut; not bolt.
Hi guys, anyone know what size the nut that holds on the hub is? Front and back the same size?
I need to take out the hub assembly to replace some of the studs on the car. My assumption is that I also need to repack the wheel bearing grease also right?
Thanks

front or back?
You don't need to take out the hub assembly for the front. You just take off the caliper and remove the rotor.
The rear is a little more complicated.
The specs for the studs are:
M12x1.5
Knurl length is .230
knurl diameter is .558
60.10mm Bore

Okay, I just checked the front and didn't see that it doesn't have a hub nut. I already know the specs of the studs. I need to know what size socket to use to take out the HUB NUT on the rear. I believe that it's a 30mm socket?

You dont have to take out the hub nut either in the rear. just a little more work.
Remove the calipers. The rotor has to be popped out, unlike the front which is held in place by the caliper. Remove the rotor and you have access to it. The thing is that you have to be careful if you don't feel like taking apart the parking brake to get at the studs. Just rotate the axle and your good.
