Had L-Tuned shocks/springs on my GS3. Slightly more stiff. I preferred it that way. You really won't notice the difference after riding on it for a couple weeks. It's really only noticeable when travelling over sharp bumps like railroad tracks and the rubber dividers on the interstate. I'm installing Tanabe NF210's and KYB GR-2's on my GS430 this coming Monday and expect the same result.

Overall, it's not that much stiffer. Basically you're firming up your suspension a bit. The much better control is a great tradeoff for a little stiffer ride.

However, the ride will be a bit harsh over bad bad roads.

You probably saw my recent thread about getting the L-tuned springs w/KYBs installed last Monday and the ride is very close to stock. I'm on 18"s and it feels like stock but feels a whole lot better on the highway. Also install the Daizen steering rack bushings. I did that a couple weeks before the L-tuned/KYB setup and that made a very noticeable difference.

thanks for the replies you all,
but lets talk about in......%. how much more % is it more stiffer? let's say stock suspension is 0%.

This is important to me, because I have a bad back and comfort>handling any day. Also I have a supra for my performance toy so I am pretty sure I won't even care much about improved steering and handling on the gs300 anyways. I just want to get rid of that HUUUUUUUUUGE gap in the fronts. Looks like a dog sitting down. lol

We all have different opinions and different components so its hard to give you a % difference. Tires, wheels, mileage, bushings, braces, GS300 vs GS400 all will make a big difference between our cars. Good luck

JP, do you have the oem 16s or 17? Or do you have aftermarket rims?

When I had the 16s, the ride was about 10% stiffer than OEM. It was about 15% when I switched over to the OEM 17s. I felt a 50% increase in stiffness over very bad roads.

But then again, tires make as much of a difference as the springs themselves.
