Default Lms Strut Bars

I recently installed a front strut bar from LMS and have noticed that at idle and when coming to a stop the car has a noticeable vibration.
Anyone else notice this or is it just me?

I did notice this but didn't think it could cause the vibration. I do have an LMS one on the way. I believe the LMS one will fit better.

So you are going to downgrade your intake so that your STB doesn't rattle? What a shame, considering how STBs are less than worthless on this car (especially the LMS STB).

I didn't mean to **** you off. However, I'm really angry that companies even sell STBs for car's like ours. Those companies are just capitalizing on people that can't NOT buy a bolt-on.

Place a towel or something with cushion and test if it's the intake. If you don't feel the vibration, you know it's the intake. Try to see if you can adjust the piping of the intake. I'm sure you can place a cushion where the two parts meet.

I removed the STB and the vibration went away. I think it's safe to say it was the intake rubbing the STB. Waiting to see if I can get a JoeZ intake pipe and go from there.

Does the STB make any difference in body flex while driving?

Not really sure. At first I thought it did. But then I took it off until I figure out what I want to do with the intake. Rubbed a good spot in my intake! No hole in it but I will need to replace it with something. Trying to see if I can get a JoeZ pipe and go from there.

Not sure you would want it since the strut tower bar made a nice dent in it.
