Default Midas brake pads

Can anyone speak to the quality of the brake pads that Midas uses for our cars? There's one here that has done good work on 2 of my SUV's....ASE mechanic, clean shop, honest owner, reasonable prices w/o unnecessary add ons.

Surely they will be fine for everyday use. Do they have a limited lifetime warrenty?

yes on lifetime, though they do charge $55 labor to replace and turn rotors...still, not bad per axle. I just don't want to go backwards on performance or have noisey/dusty pads.

They probably are not even Midas pads but some pad that they buy and put their name on. $55 is not bad for the whole job. At Lexus it would be around $230 dollars.

I did happen to change my rear brakes myself today. Wasn't too tough to do. But I didn't turn the rotors.
