Default Lower Ball joints

How many people have had to change their lower ball joints? If so what mileage did you do it at? What is the most mileage on GS you seen them last with the stock lower ball joints?

I just changed mines. The difference is night and day. My old lower ball joints had alot of wear and tear, mostly on the right side. I'm glad i changed mines on time.

I'm at 115K and I think I still have the original balljoints. I don't hear any unusual sounds from them but I have some on order and will change them out for piece of mind.

Judging by a lot of these posts, the ball joints seem to last pretty long. I'll keep a ear out when my ride reaches that kind of mileage for any signs of a ball joint problem.

'99 GS400 ... 69k miles

I just had them done when I was in LA last week. I also did the Daizen bushings ... HUGE improvement. I can't contribute the difference to one or the other, but the combo made the ride improvement incredible.

I heard of some people having their car collaspe and fall on the ground at 94k. I'm kind of scared because I'm at 144k. I have the Daizen springs and L-tuned struts. Nice slammed look with the bodykit. I know I need change my asap because if my car collaspes it could be very bad because of the clearnce.
