Default Ball joint and tie rod sets from Sewell

Hi all,
The Sewell website is up. I notice that they have a set of ball joints (Item: 43340-39415-02) and Outer tie rods (Item: 45460-59015-02). Could some one confirm that these are the lower ball joins and tie rod ends that we've been talking about?
Thanks.

I guess Carson's price is the lowest. Is this a group buy deal? Does anyone have a link that is cheaper than Carsons? This seems to be the best deal out right now.

Hi all,
My local mechanics quoted me $280 pars, labor, and tax to replace the lower ball joins. Does that sound ok?

That sounds a bit high for a local mechanic. If it's a lexus dealer, then its probably more reasonable, considering lexus labor is about twice as much as a local mechanic shop.

The part itself is about $120-130. I did the balljoints for a few CL members before. They supply the parts and pay me $40 for labor

How long does it usually take you? I have some time before work tomorrow; might do them then.

It usually takes me about 45 minutes to 1.5 hours, depending on how stuck the bolts are . I usually take my time anyways

i posted this earlier... these were the prices i got from sewell, with the clublexus discount included:

Product #:43330-39455, Lexus OEM Lower Ball Joint Assy Front Rh, Quantity:1, Price:$75.36, Item Total:$75.36
Product #:43340-39345, Lexus OEM Lower Ball Joint Assy Front Lh, Quantity:1, Price:$75.36, Item Total:$75.36
Product #:45460-59015, Lexus OEM Tie Rod Assy Rh, Quantity:1, Price:$46.34, Item Total:$46.34
Product #:45470-59015, Lexus OEM Tie Rod Assy Lh, Quantity:1, Price:$62.69, Item Total:$62.69
and then someone else posted that TM engineering will beat sewell's prices... and then cpone got even cheaper than that. maybe TM will beat carsons as well if asked?

I did it myself.. with the help of a couple friends.

This diy thread really gave me the confidence to get it done.

Whazzzzuup and I replaced my lower ball joints and outer tie rods today. Took us about 2 hours. My steering is tighter.

This is a must, good luck.
