Coilover install question...start high or low-what's easier
I am excited to finally get coilovers. I went first with S/S combo but alas- not satisfied. I am looking now for someone who will throw on the new coilovers for cheap money. It will go fast since the S/S were just installed a few months ago along with new ball joints. I am trying to keep labor cost down this time around since I paid $450 for the S/S install.
My question is on the new Tein CS V2 where should I have the threads set for when they are initially installed on the car? In other words is it easier to adjust lower or to raise? I want to adjust in only one direction. I am fussy so I will want to adjust these myself and probably will many times. Ultimately I am looking for about 1-1.2 drop in the front and about .75 in the rear. Our roads can be ****ty here in RI and I also want to prolong tire life and try to keep them quiet!!
Thanks all,
G
