The Daizen bushings must be made of concrete. I got the "Sewell" (Armstrong) bushings and they are really firm. At least as firm as my Prothane swaybar bushings.
Well, they are made from the polyurethane so the material hardness is the same. The difference is in the design. The Daizen are just cylinders of material that fill the entire void between the rack mounting hole and the bolts. On the other hand, the Sewell parts have four "lobes" that make full contact but otherwise leave an air space elsewhere. These lobes compress as needed and squeeze into the air space and this is what makes them softer than the Daizen. The Daizen don't have anywhere to squeeze into so they are more rigid.

i just bought FIGS Moto Trac links and his production versions of the tie rod coupler so when i get all these in i will be taking them to powdercoat along with just the tops of these. look for a update in about 2 weeks i hope sorry guys, i like to do everything together its just easier for me....
got the figs trac links in and the production versions of the tie rod ends....
ordered my TRD blues,soon as they get here, EVERYTHING including the BN TRD's will go get powdercoated...then these solid steering rack bushings will get installed
TRD BLUES are in, EVERYTHING is going to powder coat tomorrow and should hopefully be installed in the week or so AFTER i get them back from powder coat
WILL post the feel of FIGS solid steering rack bushings when i test them out
