Daizen Bushings Squeek.

no, sway bar bushings are easy, took my mech 30min.. the control arm bushings took him like 8 hours and he said he will never do this job again! lol.. Maybe it was that long due to lack of previous experience, he only chanrged me 300 for Tein CS and the busings together!!

There can only be One
Ok I was considering getting the Bushings but it doesn't seem like the aggravation of having to redo the oil every 3 Moths is worth it.
Anyone else have any issues with these things?
And why not just replace the bushings with the OEM ones?

That's because Lexus doesn't offer replacement bushings for the upper control and caster arm. You'll have to buy completely new arms to get the bushings and that will cost about the same as the daizen bushings after you factor in labor.
A buddy of mine has no squeaks at all and he had daizen bushings for at least a year. He said something about dont torque the bolts until the car is actually on the ground or something of that nature. I dont remember, but he has no trouble so far. Then again, he's a very damn good mechanic.

Suspension Confusion
Ok, these suspension threads are really confusing me now. Who has ordered the Daizen full control arm brushing kit, complete sways, and steering brushings from TM? What comes with the control arm kit? Are the castor arm brushings to be bought separately? Does the full sway kit come with poly brushes by default? Wat brand of white lithium grease do you guys recommend. I'm currently on Tein CS V.2
I will be purchasing:
1.) Tein EDFC
2.) OEM ball joints and tie rods.
3.) Daizen Full Sway Bar Kit (used complements of Henry )
4.) Control Arm Brushing Kit
5.) Steering Brushing Kit.
6.) White Lithium Grease.
Am I missing anything else for a full suspension overhaul? Any warnings or installation tips before I make this purchase?
Sorry for all the questions guys, I just wanna do it once and right.

If you pressure wash the inside of your wheel wells like I do, you will have to re-grease Daizen sway bar bushings a couple times a year to eliminate squeek because this has a way of blowing the grease out of the bushing. The outer portion of the sway bar bushings are exposed to the elements in the wheel wells.
I disassemble, clean, and re-grease my Daizen front sway bar bushings about twice a year to eliminate squeek. I do this once in the spring and once in the fall at the onset of colder weather. Cooler weather (seems like sub 60 degree starts mine off every fall) does make poly bushings more prone to squeek. I've used various generic greases and silicones to lube the bushings in the past, but I just ordered the Daizen bushing service-pack grease from TM Engineering to see if that works any better as they claim. I'll follow up on my experience with generic vs. Daizen grease.
I'm disappointed that some type of self-lubricating bushings where not offered with the Daizen sway bar kit given the original "luxury" design intent of our vehicles. Yes, they would have been more expensive, but those of us that have experiencing the bushing squeek (the vast majority) would have graciously paid extra had we known then what we know now. Maybe somebody has the time to research aftermarket suspension vendors and find one of them that carries a self-lubricated sway bar bushing in the proper dimensions? Or maybe we can petition TM Engineering to develop a self-lurbricating bushing replacement for the poly sets.

Old thread, bringing it back to life...
If any of the previous posters are still around, provide some updates years later...
I installed three Daizen bushing kits in the front and rear end of my 2002 SC430 and really like the way the car handles, no squeaks yet...
