How old are you? The car has a stiff ride compared to other Lexus's. You WILL NOT find any springs or shocks to make it softer.

You may want to pick up some thicker softer tires. I dont know which are softer though. Try 235/45/17s

Although, I doubt you will find the type of softness you are looking for. The suspension is designed to be "Stiff" compared to regular cars.

ride quality will worsen if you dont get new shocks with higher spring rates. I have coils and adjustable aftermarket shocks and I've asked people that arent even into cars if the ride quality was uncomfortable they said it didnt bother them. Shocks/struts do far more than springs to determine how well it rides than the spring itself

I came from a 98 Camry and my IS250 AWD was a lot bouncier than the Camry but I just got used to it. Try lowering the psi in the tires so you get a softer tire. That's my only suggestion.

I cam from a IS300 with lowered springs and 19inch tires and that car rides better than my IS350. I am very un happy with the ride for a sport lux car. I also have a 2006 F-150 6inch lift and the ride is better than my IS. I feel that the compression of the Tokico struts is too stiff. Others my get use to it but when you have other people in your car and they know it is a lux type vehicle I think thier opinion will be " boy for a $40,000+ car this rides like a cheap car.

"rides better" means nothing. You can't measure ride, unlike handling for example, it's purely subjective. Who knows, maybe you don't like the seat cushion, that contributes to the "ride".

do you have the run flat tires on your car because In my experience those tires are horrible if you're looking for comfort.

It's not worth it to but the sport PKG though it is nice that the car is already lowered 1/2 an inch and has performance structs you can save money by getting the same stuff cheaper than at Lexus. Sure it may void your warrenty but that is up to the dealership you purchased the car at. My 300 was lowered with Eibach and they had no problem with it.

Man, you guys are weak. Just the other day I was thinking "Wow, how did Lexus make the car ride so softly", esp with the low profile tires(I have the 18s).

You Should catch a ride in my 3000GT is you think the IS is too stiff. The 3000s have eibachs with KYBs and 245/40/18s. I had to drive my friend down a gravel road once, and I thought that my teeth were going to shatter.

Everyone, check your tire pressure, and if you still think its rough... then get thicker tires. It will mess up the speedo a tad. \

Stock is 225/45/17s
try
235/45/17 or 225/50/17s

225/50s will give you the softest ride

Man, you just don't know........

I came out of an 03 BMW 330i and my 350 rides like it's running on tank treads........the 330 was super smooth, and had just enough roadfeedback to keep me in touch.

The 350 feels every crack in the road, and has way too much road feedback. Not only that, but the 350 drifts side to side much more than the 330 does.......

Opions are all relative to what each persons experiences are............Weak....? No, your just ignorant.

It was a joke. I did not attack any of you in a personal level. I feel that i deserve the same.

Secondly, all of my posts remain on topic(Other than this one), and offer suggestions that could help. I dont sit around and moan about what other people are doing.

I was looking on the Tanabe website and noticed the 06 GS 300's had a lower spring rate. Maybe the stock GS300 springs would be softer.
