Default KYB GR-2 Struts/shocks.....

I'm getting these installed next week. Is there a KYB "strut mount" that I am needing??? I've seen that in a couple of other threads. So unless they are in the KYB strut boxes....I dont have em. Input???

Apparently they only offer them for the front from KYB....the part# is SM5205...I ordered mine on Ebay from performancepeddler for around $85 for the pair shipped. I believe tire rack has them for $51/ea plus shipping. As far as I can see and I am in the same boat is the only rear strut mount option is buying oem...and they're expensive...not sure if I'm going to just use what I have on or replace. I'll be putting mine on next week as well.

No, since yours is a 2002, your factory strut mounts shouldn't be that worn and can be reused. Most would recommend when in there anyway to go ahead and replace as it won't require any additional labor. KYB claims the front mounts are an upgrade and would further compliment the setup from OEM. My model is a 98 so I wanted to go ahead and replace. It's really up to you.
