What color are stock oem shocks for a 2000 GS400?
Trying to find out what shocks are on my car.
Does anyone know what color the lexus stock oem shocks are?
The shocks on the car are sort of a simi-dark metalic blue color. If these are not oem, does anyone know what they might be? They are paired with Eibach springs. I know this 'cause I can see the logo on the springs! Thanks for the help,
Scott

Hey thanks. Just got the car and after driving it home I can tell you this about the suspension -- on LA freeways it beats you up!
The front struts are leaking and I'm sure this relates to the harshness. The car has 18" SSR GT1's with 245/40/18's on them. And besides the bumpiness the current suspension seems to transmit the road vibration into the cabin. Not a pleaseant ride. Corners well though. I can't imagine all the harshness is coming from 18's on the car - can they do this? It could be partly the tires - Dunlop Sp FM901. These tires are definaltly noisy.
I definately don't want this experience with the new setup.
I'm deciding on which setup to replace this with. Considering Tein CS, HKS LS+, and possible the Bilstein PSS. It would be nice to figure out what shock this is to be able to compare it to how the above coils will ride.
