Hey guys i need a suspension setup that will give me a nice drop, and handles arounds the twisties like a bimmer with the sport package. Which set up is simular to a bmw with the sport package. I see a nice deal on the l-tuned springs and shocks. Will that give me what im looking for? help..

if ur looking for stiffness that bmws have u might consider doing coilovers, toms 6rear link kit, and sway bars
from what i heard ltuned sprin/shock combo is still too "floaty"
toms 6 rear link kit is how most bmw rear suspension comes stock, of course not as good quality materials though.

I have the L-tuned shocks and springs and if you are looking for Bimmer ride quality, look elsewhere. My wife drives an X5 and it is way stiffer than my L-tuned 430. I think some of the other people on CL will tell you to go with the coil overs. I think you will also need to get beefier sway bars and engine/trunk strut bars to help stiffen up the turning. I just picked up my new Danzien sway bars and will be putting them on tomorrow and will update how much of a difference they make.

I would say as low as a 5 series wiith the sport package. what is that like a 1.5 inch drop? I like the drop "Two-Times" has, and blue gs4 has.Originally Posted by TLW
how low do you want to go ?

I just got my Bilstein PSS coilovers installed, and i like the ride and handling alot. It feels like stock to me on smooth roads/freeways, and Im pretty low at about a finger gap all around (or so it seems...it may get a little lower within a week once the coils settles).

here's Tein CS coilovers with zero gap, and i got 20's. The ride just with tein cs is pretty stiff depending your setting.

Similar but Tein CS is adjustable for damper stiffness and ride height, but I'd say the Tein CS corners a lot flatter than L Tuned.Originally Posted by GTSLEX
In terms of ride and handling how much stiffer is the Tein CS vs LTuned.
