Default Abs

My ABS seems to engage under very mild breaking conditions. The best way to explain it is if you look up and have to slow down pretty fast but not slam your breaks. In the snow season it goes off every time I break. Is this normal and has anyone else had this same issue happen to them? My car is lowered on the stock shocks if that matters at all.

does the abs just get engaged on one of the wheels or the whole thing kicks in on all wheels?

I did not know it was an independent thing for all wheels. I hear the noise coming from the front of the car. Did I maybe put a break line on wrong when putting the struts back on the car?

if it's just one wheel, maybe you should check to see that side of teh car is now lower or something, it's more about the balance of the car. if everything kicks in or so, maybe you try to check the tire and see if it's wearing out. otherwise, probably need to check on the brake systems

I will check the tire pressure today. I don't remember it doing it when I first lowered the car but I defiantly don't want to have it that way forever.

Thanks for the help

yeah try to check the pressure and see if there is any significant or uneven wear on any of the tires.
