Hi, in another thread you can see that my regen brakes don't work anymore. Now I am pretty sure that the abs is not working. When snowy or icy the wheels will lock, no pedal pulsations are felt, and no electric noises are heard. I have no control of the steering. The VSC light flashes as it should. I have excellent winter tires. I tested it many times. No codes or warning lamps.

The Lexus service manager drove it on asphalt without snow or ice and told me it's working exactly as it should.

Does the hybrid 2007 rx400h abs show no signs of working? In my mdx it is very clear that abs is working since the pedal pulsates and you hear electronic noise along with it. Lexus said no noise or pulsations should occur in my car.

It is almost impossible to test ABS on dry pavement. It also will be difficult on wet pavement as tires are so good now. It has been a while since I have been in show but I remember the pedal vibrating pretty good. Next time you get snow, find a small hill and have someone video your stop from the side of the road. If your wheels are locking, it should be easy to see. Then show the video to your dealer.

thanks for the info. I am having a lot of problems with the hybrid braking system so I will order a techstream cable and try to figure it out. I am 99.9% sure that the abs is not working at all when its snowy and icy...luckily I live in sweden so it will snow pretty soon and I can check it again.
