Default 1st mod...TRD LCB

I picked up a TRD LCB and had it installed today. I'm not overly impressed, the difference with the LCB is minor. The install took about 5 minutes on a lift.

Pro: The front end twists less, feels slightly more solid.
Con: The dash has started to make little creaking noises.

I know sways will make a big difference, eventually...

Don't go too stiff w/the sways if you are planning to get coilovers. Stiffest swaybars doesn't mean better performance.

thanks for the info. i was hesitant about getting an LCB, but since you say it doesn't really make too much of a difference, i'm gonna pass on it. i already got the bilstein HD shocks and they are stiffer than the oem shocks. i'm running on oem springs.

Well, I have Toms front and rear lower chassis braces, and for me they made a significant difference, especially the front brace. I also have Daizen sways and Tein CS coilovers. When I added the front lower brace I could immediately tell the difference in steering - much more precise and quicker response. The car just goes where I point it. Great investment for me - now if I could just get the Toms 6 link ( waiting for delivery ) to really bring the rear end together.

By contrast I felt that the front STB I just added didn't make too much of a difference. Good luck.

I imagine the TOM`S LCB feels more dramatic because it's thicker as most users have reported.

Changing the LCB alone is about the mildest change possible, but you did at least notice the difference. I'd suggest an front STB to 'box' the top and bottom.

You will feel the biggest difference with the sways and shocks/springs (or coilovers) change. The chassis braces are fine tuning suspension pieces. The changes are somewhat subtle but you will get more confidence once they are on. I went sways first then LCB and I definitely noticed a difference.
