Thanks Ed. I feel the same way but am still thinking about blue and maybe also black. I am really leaning heavily towards red though. Any pics of silver with blue calipers any cars?

The only thing about red is that there are so many people who do red.

Thats a tough choice man, I think it depends on what look your going for. If its a smooth clean look than do silver or blk if its an aggressive than do Red, if your going for a vip look than gold or blue or baby blue. i've seen red on silver on lxogood's car from his last set up and it looked killer. we've also seen blk on silver from bit and hameed and it look great aswell. its a tough choice. your going with a very subtle clean kit in the wald so mayb blk is the way to go unless you really want people to see what your stopping with? good luck.

Thanks for your input Adrian. I like the red because it WILL be noticed whereas blue or black may not be as noticeable. I have also been checking out the bbks on E46fanatics. The overwhelming majority there go with red, whereas here it seems to me that there are quite a few who go with the black. Decisions decisions

If you want to be noticed, the safe bet is red.

If you want to blend in, do black or silver. Gold to be VIP, but I think only if you are going after that look for the whole car.

The other colors generally available are (dark StopTech) blue and yellow. You would really want to make a statement with these colors and I am not sure a Lexus is that type of car. You'd have to go for that aggressive look (kit, wheels, wings ...).

umm.. sorry but i think black looks just as good as red. like i said it still boils down to whether you want people to just stare at your brakes or let the car flows itself. if you want the brakes to jump out, red no doubt

I do really like the way red looks on the silver. I think black would look cleaner but dont want it to get lost.

On a side not if I do get red calipers should I leave my rear stock calipers black? I am thinking about upgrading those later but not planning on it now. I think stock calipers painted red are a no no but would it be ok to match the front bbk?

Dave has the rear black with his red brembos. It looks fine. Whichever you do, I do suggest painting the rear so that the finish is similar. The rough greenish unfinished OEM texture just does not go with the nice powdercoated fronts.
